Story Line:

Krishna Murthy (Rajendra Prasad), son of rich industrialist Satyanarayana (Nutan Prasad) falls in love with Padma (Rajani) when he meets the girl in a marriage. But when Krishnas father comes to know that Padma is the daughter of a greedy miser Lakshmipathy (Kota Srinivasa Rao), he challenges his son to convince Lakshmipathy to marry his daughter without revealing that he belongs to a rich family. Then Krishna Murthy agrees for that and go to the Padma’s village to succeed in love as well as challenge. Rest of the story is about Krishna’s efforts to impress Lakshmipathy by acting like a miser himself
